About us.

Mandera Teachers Training College, established in 2016 in Mandera East, was founded to address the shortage of qualified primary school teachers in northeastern Kenya. The college offers the Diploma in Primary Teachers Education (DPTE) as its flagship program, equipping trainees with the skills and knowledge needed to improve education standards in the region.

Since its inception, the college has become a key institution for nurturing professional educators who serve in marginalized and underserved areas. With a commitment to excellence, Mandera Teachers Training College continues to bridge the education gap and contribute to the region’s socio-economic development.
